Suspension or Pigtail Eyebolts

Applications

These are used for the suspension of air and water columns, ventilation columns, electrical cables etc.
Their use is however not recommended for more heavier usages such as snatch block rigging or the support of drilling platforms. Pigtail eyebolts are anchored by either 32 mm or 35 mm bail type expansion units.

Lengths

Studs are available in standard lengths as shown in the table below. Lengths are measured to below the twist. Non standard lengths on request.

Threads

All threads are formed by a cold rolling process.

The following standard thread types are available:

Metric (Right-hand only) - M16 x 2 - 8g and M20 x 2.5 - 8g.
